Going to the movies doesn't make a great first date

Going on a first date soon? Wondering where to go? Well, going to see a movie at the theatre may not be the best option...

First dates are the most critical ones because they influence whether there's going to be a second one or not. Seeing a movie in a dark theatre where you're not supposed to talk doesn't give you much time to you know... Actually get to know each other.

What if you both actually have total different personalities than you thought and don't have anything in common? Going to the movies doesn't give you the chance to figure that out, plus it might not be the best place to have your first kiss if you don't know what they even do for a living.

Not only does not being able to talk make it a bad first date choice but the fact that you're filled in a room with tons of random people doesn't exactly scream "romance" to me.  First dates are critical to leave a lasting impression, hence sitting with your date and some stranger on their left or right makes it a little less intimate.

Don't get me wrong! Movies are great... If you've been on a few dates already. Try going somewhere a little bit more exciting, like bowling or mini putting. The last thing you want is for your date to be more into what's on the screen than you.
